Come with us on an epic adventure with your own custom made African itinerary. At Private Guide Worldwide PGW, our favourite way to do this for guests whose lives do not afford them the ability of time away from their busy schedules or who are unlikely to travel back to Africa for many years, is to experience a Pan African Safari. This can be done using your own private jet or jets and charters sourced on the continent by us. Travelling with Private Guide Worldwide PGW allows you the freedom to adapt the itinerary to your needs.
One of the many benefits of travelling with Private Guide Worldwide PGW is that upon arrival into airports, where possible, you will be met and assisted through immigration and customs along with VIP assistance through the visa arrivals procedure
Our aim is to cover as many of Africa’s incredible highlights and secrets in as short a time as you have which travelling by private jet or charter allows you to do.
Travelling from north to south, we arrive in Rwanda and leaving the jet we helicopter directly to one of Rwanda’s premier gorilla reserves to experience these incredible endangered animals in your own private group, staying in the foothills of Mount Sabyinyo.
We then travel to Northern Kenya and stay at a private house on the Borana Conservancy where we can have a full day helicopter excursion to the Jade Sea, taking time to a visit with the Pokot people. The next day we take the helicopters up to Mount Kenya and perhaps some fly fishing for trout on Lake Michaelson which sits at 4,700 meters. You will visit the people of Ol Donyo Wasin and see the famous Singing Wells as well as experience some of the best star gazing in the world and finally, explore the volcanic Lake Bogoria. Depending on the time of year, we recommend game driving through the Mara Plains to witness the great migration.
Zambia, is where the walking safari was conceived and here we have the unique opportunity to track lions on foot in the Luangwa Valley. From Livingstone, you can helicopter to view the Victoria Falls, take a dip in the Devils Pool and peer over the edge of the falls.
Moving on to the beauty of Botswana, here we can explore one of the world’s largest inland deltas. Our favourite camp offers you a chance to explore the waterways in a traditional dug-out canoe called a mokoro, take a boat ride at sunset and experience some of Africa’s best game viewing by vehicle.
Pan Africa offers so much as we travel on to Namibia and spend time with the Himba people whilst enjoying a land rover safari driving through garnet filled sand dunes, then flying over Kunene and on to the extraordinary Fish River Canyon and south to Cape Town.
South Africa has a wealth of places to visit but Cape Town brings diving with great white sharks, exploring the winelands and experiencing the wonderful art world that is emerging from this exciting town.
From here, if your time allows we travel to Madagascar for 3 days of warm azure waters in the north west of the island sighting fossa, lemurs and indri.
This is an adventure that can be as short or as long as you wish.
